BumperPlugs are sold in pairs (two plugs per pair). Please remove your license plate bracket prior to ordering, so you can verify how many pairs you need. We have over 2500 colors in stock. In order to expedite orders quickly for our customers we prepackage our inventory in pairs. Otherwise we’d not be able to meet our customer expectations for prompt service. Nearly 40% of our customers have odd-numbers, and they understand they’ll need pairs, with a spare left over in case of trouble later.
Check the driver side door jamb for a sticker that shows "Manufactured by..." and shows your VIN. Look for 'EXT', 'PNT', 'Color', 'C', 'CC' followed by your paint code (typically 2-3 characters). The code is typically located on the bottom, but some makes list in the top right or left corners. Paint codes will look like any of these: NH-797M, RR, 040, 799, LC9A, 2T, or K1X. The sticker location varies by make, so we suggest using our Paint Code Location reference guide. If have trouble, please contact us!

If the color is not listed, we can produce it as a custom color. However, before you proceed with a custom color, please check your paint code as it's possible the color is already listed on the website.
Unfortunately, we do not offer chrome. It’s not possible to layer chrome onto non-metallic material in the US because the required chemicals are not legal. Many customers end up going with a silver metallic option instead, which blends in pretty well from a few feet back.
Most license plate brackets are installed with plastic rivets. We recommend using a Fastener Removal Tool (available at any auto parts store) and place behind the head of the rivets to pry them loose. Watch video below for details. If you have trouble, please contact us!
Our original BumperPlugs work on just about every make and model. Holes that are drilled into the bumper may have to be enlarged a bit (9/32" is the ideal size). Holes must be no larger than 9/32" diameter, and should be at least 3/4" deep. There are small teeth on the stem of the plug that will hold it in place after installation (follow our directions in the package). No adhesive required. Please see our installation page for more information.
If the BumperPlugs do not match your vehicle, please follow these steps. Often times this occurs when the wrong color is selected or you are looking at the plugs in dark lighting.

Yes! To reinstall a plate holder in the future you would need to use threaded grommets available from any car parts store. You can also purchase them online by looking up license plate screw kit. These will fit a 9/32” diameter hole perfectly.
We ship primarily with USPS for Priority Mail and First-Class Mail. For Next Day delivery or for items of high value, we typically use FedEx depending on location. We do our best to keep prices as reasonable as possible and get the orders to you promptly. Stock items (such as BumperPlugs) usually ship within one business day.
We are perfectionists. We created a unique process for painting these materials, and we spent hundreds of man-hours perfecting it. The process cannot be rushed. We do our best to stock most items, but custom painted parts (such as Consoles and Reflectors) are placed into production upon order, and turned around as fast as possible. Stock items usually ship within one business day, so watch for your order confirmation with shipping details, and a shipment notification when your order ships. All orders are shipped Monday through Friday. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday (or next business day if there's a federal holiday).
Received a "package delivered" email from USPS but the package was not delivered? Check your mailbox, front door, porch area or see if a neighbor received the package. Many times these are 'false' delivery scans. In cases like this, the package typically shows up in 1-2 days. If you do not receive it in that timeframe, please submit a Missing Mail Request or contact your local USPS office and ask to speak to the supervisor. Responses for missing mail claims may take 1-2 business days. If you are unable to get answers from USPS, please contact us and we will do our best to help. If necessary, a replacement will be processed, but you must take these steps first before reaching out to us.
Absolutely! Please fill out the Return Request Form or email us with the details of the problem. We will instruct you on returning the item for exchange or refund. Shipping costs are non-refundable (see Warranty Policy). Same for custom painted/ordered parts (consoles, lights, bumperettes, etc).
As long as the order was within the return window (15 days) and has not been installed, then you can return them. Please fill out the Return Request Form and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Shipping costs are non-refundable (see Warranty Policy).
